Veterinarians – bacteriologists, microbiologists successfully completed a professional development course, which held online. Any specialist always improves his skills through special or self-training. Despite the high level of stress caused by the martial law, the students mastered the materials of the course program and improved their professional knowledge.
In their presentations professors and associate professors of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine focused not only on theoretical principles, but also on practical examples, which are closely related to modern challenges the specialists of state laboratories of the State Food and Consumer Service often face. The main issues of the training were: the legal basis of laboratory work; organization of the bacteriological department of the laboratory of veterinary medicine and labor protection; modern bacteriological methods for diagnosing infectious diseases; microbiological methods of food research, etc.
They used Zoom application, but a chat messenger Viber “Courses PVC – bacteriologists, microbiologists” was also created for more effective communication between lecturers and students. The presence of chat communication facilitated: the exchange of professional work experience, an opportunity for new professional acquaintances, prevention of difficulties in the delivery of lecture-practical material.
At the end of the training all students passed a final computer testing. All students, who successfully passed a test, got certificates.
We hope that the acquired and improved knowledge will be useful for all participants in their work. It will a good background for their further professional and career growth.
