As part of the implementation of the pilot project on the introduction of a dual form of education, a meeting of the thematic student club was held on the topic: “Rights and responsibilities of a student”. Popularization of DFOE (Dual Form of Obtaining Education) among universities of Ukraine undoubtedly contributes to increasing the level of training of a competent specialist, maximally adapted to the needs of the employer.
Moderators of the event: Yurii Danko, Vice-Rector for Research and International Activities of Sumy National Agrarian University, and associate professor of the Department of Marketing named after A.F. Pavlenko (KNEU named after Vadym Hetman)-Olena Buchynska provided comprehensive information on the peculiarities of studying under the DFOE for a student.
During the discussion, the participants of the thematic club, who are still considering the possibility of joining the project on the implementation of the DFOE, actively asked questions about the prospects opened up by studying under a dual form of education. The students had the opportunity to exchange experiences, because the participants in the online event were students who are already studying under the dual form of education. During the event, the students of higher education not only received answers to questions from the given topic, but also took an active part in online voting using QR codes, which were aimed at revealing the level of awareness about the dual form of obtaining education.
We are convinced that the practice of organizing events to popularize DFOE in the format of a thematic club will benefit every participant and contribute to increasing number of students who choose dual education.
